So we headed to the store to get our goods.
Came back home and saw how sad the short little washer and dryer look.
Then we built the frame of the pedestal.
Added the top. Oh, and that's our new cordless drill that is totally awesome and powerful!
Hubs was just making sure it was sturdy. :)
Then we had to move the washer and dryer around because the installers had them backwards. The doors opened towards each other instead of away from each other. Oh and we had to turn off the water and un hook all the water hoses... but we did it without messing anything up! :)
Our final product... so far! I still plan to add the moldings to the pedestal to add some character and prettiness!
Now they open up the right way! :)
THEN... it FINALLY snowed! I am so happy we finally got some snow this winter!
It was coming down pretty hard and the snow flakes were big too!
Im so excited that we got the washer/dryer pedestal up and working! I did a load of laundry to make sure everything worked right and it was so much easier to switch all the laundry around and it didn't hurt my back like usual.
My next crafty idea is probably going to be a drying rack for the laundry room:
And some cute art to spruce it up!
The laundry room is going to be the cutest room in the house!
